8 Years of Pink Poodle Bridal: The Journey, The Brides & The Dream

Eight years.

When I think about that number, I don’t just think about time. I think about faith, resilience, growth, lessons, relationships, beautiful brides, long days, unexpected challenges, and countless moments that reminded me why I started.

Pink Poodle Bridal began as a dream and an online boutique. In September 2018, that dream became a brick-and-mortar bridal shop, and the journey took on a whole new meaning.

Building a business is one thing. Building a business that lasts is something completely different.

Over these eight years, I’ve learned that entrepreneurship isn’t always glamorous. There are moments of celebration and moments when you question everything. There are slow seasons, difficult decisions, financial challenges, unexpected opportunities, and days when you simply have to keep going.

But then there’s the bride.

There’s something incredibly special about helping a woman find the dress she imagined wearing on one of the most important days of her life.

At Pink Poodle Bridal, we’ve never wanted to simply sell wedding dresses. We want our brides to feel seen, heard, welcomed, and cared for. From the first appointment to the final fitting, our goal has always been to provide the hospitality, honesty, personal attention, and expertise that every bride deserves.

Over the years, we’ve grown, evolved, rebranded, expanded our designer offerings, celebrated major milestones, participated in Detroit events, received recognition, and continued investing in the vision.

And yes, there have been plenty of lessons along the way.

I’ve learned that you have to be willing to evolve without losing sight of who you are. I’ve learned that your reputation matters. I’ve learned that every bride’s experience matters. And I’ve learned that sometimes the biggest triumph is simply refusing to quit.

Eight years later, I’m incredibly proud of what Pink Poodle Bridal has become.

I’m proud of every bride who trusted us.

Every mother who sat beside her daughter.

Every groom and family member who celebrated with us.

Every gown that left our doors.

Every alteration that transformed a dress into the dress.

Every challenge that made us stronger.

And every person who has supported the Pink Poodle along the way.

This journey has been about so much more than wedding dresses.

It has been about people, relationships, dreams, and creating beautiful memories.

As I celebrate eight years, I’m not looking backward with regret. I’m looking back with gratitude — and forward with excitement.

Because the story of Pink Poodle Bridal isn’t finished.

Eight years down. The best is still ahead.
