I went to 9 different dress shops in the metro Detroit area and this shop was my number one favorite not only because of the beautiful and unique dress selection, but also because of Shawn and the experience she created for me. Ms Shawn at Pink Poodle is beyond a shop owner. She’s a true genuine spirit that can recognize what the brides want. I am excited to be working with Ms Shawn for my upcoming wedding. From day 1 she welcomed my family and I with good music and the cutest charcuterie board. She takes her time with you, makes suggestions and is open to allowing you to make your experience your own. She stays on top of updates and keeps you informed so the panic doesn’t happen. One of my fondest moments is Ms Shawn’s willingness to listen and pour into my experience. I went to Pink Poodle Dress Lounge last week to find my wedding dress, and my experience was incredible!
The lounge itself is located in a really charming part of Detroit and the inside is welcoming and cozy with beautiful antique furniture and pink accents. However, the best part by far is Shawn, who is SO fun, friendly and knowledgable – she made the dress shopping experience easy! I'm really picky and was nervous about dress shopping, but Shawn responded to all my emails ahead of time and tracked down some dresses that fit my style and made me feel great. I'd never been one to dream about my perfect dress, but when I tried on "the one" at the Lounge I felt like a million bucks. Shawn shared her knowledge about bustles, shapewear, headpieces and veils, and I ended up purchasing the perfect veil to complement the dress, too.
I can't wait to go back to the Pink Poodle Lounge for my dress alterations and hair/makeup before the big day! If you're thinking about finding your dress here, just do it! ~ Google Review

I’m a June 2023 Bride that reside in the Caribbean and let me just say Shawn made my bridesmaid dress shopping experience a smooth and an exceptional one by far!
